I walk in memory of Grandma Hazel, Mom Millie, Uncle Bob, Cousin Chuck, 'Uncle' Frank and so many others that have had their precious memories stolen by this disease. This is my 10th year walking for Alzsd!

I have found that most everyone has a friend or relative diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia. That's why I walk!

Alzheimer’s disease: A brain disorder that gradually destroys memory, thinking skills, and the ability to perform basic tasks. It is the leading cause of dementia among older adults.

Dementia: A general term describing significant cognitive decline—memory, reasoning, behavior—that interferes with daily functioning.

I want to help find a cure! My family will join me in the early morning walk to support this important cause. You can join too :)
