I walk in memory of Grandma Hazel, Mom Millie, Uncle Bob, Cousin Chuck, 'Uncle' Frank and so many others.

I have found that most everyone has a friend or relative diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia. That's why I walk!

Alzheimer’s disease: A brain disorder that gradually destroys memory, thinking skills, and the ability to perform basic tasks. It is the leading cause of dementia among older adults.

Dementia: A general term describing significant cognitive decline—memory, reasoning, behavior—that interferes with daily functioning.

I want to help find a cure! This is my 10th year of walking for Alzsd and my family will join in the early morning walk to support this important cause. You can join too :)
