Support the 100,000 San Diegans living with dementia by joining the Walk4ALZ on Saturday, October 17th! This marks our 10th year celebrating this impactful walk. All proceeds benefit Alzheimer's San Diego and will be used to support people living with dementia, their caregivers, and to fund research for a cure.
Walk4ALZ is completely free to register and is a family-friendly and dog-friendly event. The route is 2.75 miles around Balboa Park. Click here to view the route. It is the largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's San Diego, a local nonprofit organization. It is the only walk where every dollar stays in San Diego County to support people living with dementia and their caregivers.

Parking is FREE. Use any of the available lots along Park Blvd.
Update from the City of San Diego: On Sept. 15, 2025, the San Diego City Council approved new parking rates for Balboa Park. As part of the decision, the Council requested no parking fees be implemented until annual and quarterly parking passes are available. At this time, all parking in Balboa Park remains free
