Support Me As I Walk4ALZ!
Did you know that more than 100,000 San Diegans are living with Alzheimer's or another dementia?
I walk in honor of my Nana Ingrid and Papa John. Like so many families, we know firsthand how challenging it is to care for a loved one through Alzheimer's and to say goodbye to them. It is a devastating disease, and its toll reaches far beyond the person diagnosed, to the family and friends who stand beside them.
That's why I've served on the Board of Alzheimer's San Diego for a number of years, and why this October I will once again Walk4ALZ in Balboa Park, San Diego's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's programs, services and research toward a cure. Your support helps provide thousands of San Diego families with care and support today.
100% of the dollars we raise stay right here in San Diego to help our community.
Big or small, every dollar makes a difference. Please sponsor me and give as generously as you can. Thank you for supporting caregivers, those living with the disease, and the search for a cure.
With gratitude,
Derrick
