Walking for my Mom
Thank you for visiting my web page for this year’s Walk4ALZ.
As many of you know, each year I participate in Walk4ALZ in beautiful San Diego, and I’m so grateful for the kindness and generosity you have shown by supporting me along the way. Your past donations have meant so much—not only to me, but also to the many San Diego families who rely on the services and support provided by Alzheimer’s San Diego.
This year is especially meaningful because Alzheimer’s San Diego is celebrating its 10th year of helping families in our community. In honor of that milestone, I’ve set a lofty personal goal of raising $12,000 this year. If I reach it, my total fundraising over the past 10 years will reach an incredible $100,000 in support of this important organization.
I make this walk in honor of my mom, Jackie, who died of Alzheimer’s 23 years ago. Her memory continues to inspire me, and I walk so that other families facing this disease can receive the care, education, and hope they need. Knowing that every dollar raised through Walk4ALZ stays right here in San Diego County makes this cause even more personal and meaningful to me.
I hope I can once again count on your support this year. A donation of any amount would mean so much and would help me move closer to this ambitious goal.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Annie
