Hello Friends,
This is the 8th year that I will be walking to raise money for Alzheimer's Association! My first encounter with ALZ was many years ago when my grandmother, Hazel, was diagnosed. I learned about the severity of this disease and witnessed it's progression as it stole my grandmothers' precious memories. I originally walked in her memory, until my Uncle Bob was diagnosed, cousin Chuck and then my mother-in-law, Millie. I walk in honor of family and I also walk to support friends who have shared their stories of a loved one's diagnosis. If you have a family member or friend who has dementia or Alzheimer's please consider making a donation. Or walk with me!
There are more than 100,000 San Diegans living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. Sponsoring me will help make a local difference. 100% of the money we raise will stay in San Diego to help our community!
Remember, big or small, every dollar makes a difference.
Thank you for your support!
