Walking for my Mom
Alzheimer’s Disease
You KNOW someone…
You’re RELATED to someone…
You’ve LOST someone…
You’ve CARED for someone…
You’d like to PREVENT it from happening to someone!
Since 2003 when I began walking to help find solutions and provide caregiving services to people in San Diego the number of individuals suffering from this disease has doubled. Back in 2003 there were 50,000 people in San Diego with the disease. Today that number is 100,000 and increasing. Despite intense research, new promising drugs and so much more awareness about Alzheimer’s, we still haven’t been able to conquer and eliminate this mind stealing disease.
This is the 20th year since my mother’s passing, and I am still committed to helping raise funds to find a cure. I know my mom, Jackie, is proud of me. I hope I can continue to make her proud by once again committing to reach that ultimate goal of stopping Alzheimer’s in its tracks.
Please consider a donation of any size by clicking on the donate button above.
100% of the dollars we raise will stay in San Diego to help our community!
Remember, big or small, every dollar makes a difference. Please give as generously as you can and thank you for your support!
I am, as I have been for 20 years, eternally grateful for your support.
Thanks,
Annie
