This is Alzheimer's San Diego's largest annual fundraiser which my family has participated in every year for 9 years.

I continue to sit on the Board of Directors and participate in their programs and activities. Frank and I went for the first time to the after party for the Ride4AlZ in July. The motorcyclists, some 200 of them, ride all over the county together to Coronado. They ended up at the AleSmith Brewing Company. What a great group of people riding together to raise funds for Alzheimer's San Diego! The music was playing, they were drinking the custom beer made for the Ride4ALZ occasion, and we had a silent auction and gave awards to the best fund raisers in the group.

All services provided by Alzheimer's San Diego are free to the public. The organization uses donations to provide on-going education and support to people with Alzheimer's and their care partners. This includes assistance from Social Workers who are aware of the many resources available in the community. ALZSD also coordinates outreach services with other agencies in San Diego such as the Sheriff's Department and County and City services in addition to training public employees in how to identify someone suffering from dementia so they can help them appropriately during a crisis.

Every dollar contributed makes a difference to someone in the community who needs our help. Please give as generously as you can and thank you for your support!
