Team Wellman
Dear Family and Friends,
Once again the Wellman Family will walk in Balboa Park on Saturday October 18 to support Alzheimer’s San Diego.
Remarkably, this will be our 9th Walk! Where has the time gone?
Last year our Team was dedicated to our loss of Cory in April 2024 and now we need to reinvent our efforts. Alzheimer’s SD still has so much work to do to support the ever growing need of Alzheimer’s Families.
There are numerous stages to this disease, from the initial diagnosis to the early onset stages to end of life, and then the grieving and healing our families go through after our loss.
As many of you know, I continue to participate in the "Life after Caregiving" Support Group which has become invaluable for so many of us grieving the loss we were so entangled in.
The healing process is often forgotten but it is a necessary part to go forward. Our bereavement continues, but "Life after Caregiving" has undoubtedly assisted me immensely in our healing the loss of Cory.
Please continue to support this very worthy cause....Just CLICK on the LINK and give what you can. alzsd.rallybound.org/walk4alz-2025/Wellman
Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity
