When my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease I witnessed her decline. The disease stole her memories and her ability to care for herself.
When my mother-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I helped care for and support her. It was devastating to see the disease progress and take away her precious memories.
I want to help find a cure!

I have learned that most everyone knows a family member diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia. That's why every year I walk!
